We had a bittersweet assembly in Secondary today: we said farewell to our 12th graders, but we also welcomed our 6th graders into Secondary.

To commemorate the occasion, Student Council instituted a new tradition: an ABIS Totem Pole. Each grade will have an Omani-inspired totem to represent their class. From now on, when the 12th graders leave, they will pass their totem on to the incoming 7th grade class, officially recognizing them as Secondary students. We hope that with this totem pole every ABIS class will have a legacy to leave behind when they go.

We wish our 12th graders great success as they leave us to pursue their futures. The ABIS community will miss you!
