How are decisions made in a workplace? Do Mr. Tomalin and Ms. Simpson play rock, paper, scissors, when they disagree on an issues? How can we make fair decisions when organizing our own workplaces? These are some of the questions that we answered this week. The students learned how to communicate their ideas and vote on ideas. We chose our company/workplace name (World Warriors) and wrote our Mission Statement. Students decided upon jobs for themselves (Accountant, Project Manager, Resource Manager or Research Analyst) and got to work planning the steps, resources, and money needed to make their action plans from UOI 4 a reality.
In Maths we have been working on solving word problems, we still need lots of practice with this skill. Math problems can be tricky!
