This week Ms. Affleck was in Grade 2 for 4 days and started off the new Unit of Inquiry. The students brainstormed a list of workplaces and jobs and looked at some of the jobs at ABIS. On Tuesday Mr. Vanay came to class and the students interviewed him to find out more about a construction site and the work he does. They then went on a tour of the construction site here at ABIS.
Today the students published their writing about their holidays and then each student read their writing to the class. It was great to hear about all the exciting adventures and time spent with family and friends over the break!
