For Secondary students, still kind of waking up in the morning, after chatting and connecting with our friends, one of the first things we do is go to advisory. There are many things we do in advisory to set the day off in a positive way, like goal setting, sharing experiences, CAS / MCAS, assemblies, and activities! About once every week or two, students in each of the advisory groups organize activities that get us moving, thinking, laughing, and working together. Everyone is involved and it’s a great way to get the body and brain up and moving. This week we had a scavenger hunt activity where students had to solve riddles and the solution gave an object. Students then searched around the school to find the objects they discovered from the riddles. Thanks to Shahad and Caitlyn (G8) for organizing the activities this week. Looking forward to many more creative student led activities, getting ABIS students off to a great start of the day!
