Last week was an extraordinary week with our students out and about exploring Oman. The weather was very pleasant and made life easy for those on the Grade 7 camel safari. Though the sky was perfect, it was a bit chilly on Jebel Sham for Grade 9, and the water was colder than usual down in Musannah for Grade 8, so we will return with them to do more diving after the break when the water is warmer. We were treated to some wonderful reflections and video tributes by students and hope that we can find a way of sharing them. They really capture the many moments that make these trips so special and worthwhile. A special thank you to the teachers who led the trips, and a thank you to you for sending your child away with us.

Our Grade 10 students are currently in Qatar at an MUN conference, which we hope will be a brilliant  and rewarding experience for them. MUN is perfectly suited for older students and helps then develop powerful critical thinking and communication skills, as well as develops their global awareness. That attached photo captures  G10 students making a practice speech to Secondary students prior to leaving for the conference.

Sports day is the big event next week and we hope that ‘most’ of you can make it. We’ll share more details early next week.
