This week we finished off our Unit of Inquiry, How We Express Ourselves, by presenting our plays to parents and ABIS students.
All students worked very hard together to make and put on their plays. It was enjoyable to watch how the characters and storylines developed as the students continued to practice, get feedback, and make changes to improve their performances. I know many of the students were nervous to perform in front of the other grades and in front of their parent, but they were risk-takers and presented their plays with confidence. Well done Grade 2!
Reminder that next week is OMAN WEEK! Please make sure to dress your child in appropriate clothing for each day’s events and brings a healthy snack and lunch and a water bottle each day.
Sunday – School uniform
Monday – Hat, sun cream, shorts, water shoes or flip flops, t-shirt, sweater.
Tuesday – Running shoes and socks for hiking, hat, long pants, t-shirt or long sleeve shirt, sun cream. We will be going to the beach after the hike and students are allowed to wade in the water up to their knees. Please pack a towel, shorts, and beach shoes for the afternoon.
Wednesday – Comfortable shoes for walking, pants, t-shirt, sweater or jacket, hat, sun scream.
Sleepover – pillow and blanket or sleeping bag, teddy or sleep aid, pajamas, toothbrush, toothpaste, wash cloth, flashlight (torch), change of clothes for the morning.
