To commence their studies this year, grade 7 and 8 art students have been investigating the Principles of Design (Balance, Unity, Movement, Rhythm, Pattern, Empahasis, Contrast, Variety). To see if they can use them to make organise the Elements of Art (Line, Shape, Colour, Value, Form, Space and Texture) into effective designs, they have created personalised covers for their sketchbooks:
