Phew! We have crossed the finish line. At the time of writing, students have departed the building and teachers are busy tidying and storing all of the books.

It has been a tremendous day, full of student activity and excitement starting with the ultimate frisbee tournament, in which the houses played each other, and then the winning team played the teachers. Teachers narrowly scraped a victory. We then played the students at football, which was another close game. Thanks to the goal keeping skills of Andy ‘the cat’ Clarke, we finished the game with our pride intact. Score: Teachers 2, students 1.

Thank you to all the parents who came to the assembly and shared the news that 16 students passed the French DELF exam. This is a tremedous result. Thank you very much to Francoise Cerdan for all the teaching and support. Well done to the 8 ABIS students who competed in Muscat at the dance competition last night. We won 1st and 2nd place, which is an incredible achievement. Thank you very much to Carole Saunders for all the coaching and inspiration.

And now some goodbyes:

Best wishes and good luck to Jackie Graves. We wish her all the best with the next step in her career.

All the best to students, Kalea Hough, Ellie Hogg, and Williams Gutierrez, all leaving the Secondary school. Thank you all for your contribution to the school and being a part of the ABIS family.

Thank you to everyone for making this a great year; have a lovely, safe, summer break and see you in September!
