This week we did lots of reading for information and viewing and listening for information. We watched 2 BrainPop videos about geography and mapping skills, and listened for key words to help answer our questions. We also read through many books and wrote down any interesting facts that we discovered. Students shared what they had learned about maps and I summarized it for us. We explored many different road and city maps from other countries and took a look at country maps. In writing we worked on writing descriptive sentences. Have a fun weekend!
