Another first for ABIS is the Grade 12 Art exhibition on Sunday between 6 and 7pm. There will be live music and refreshment and the opportunity to speak to Grade 12 students and view their work, which is impressive. We have kept the session to a ‘short and sweet’ hour so that parents can still spend the evening with their families. Everyone is welcome and Rining, Clarissa, Eckhart and James would be grateful for your support.
The beach clean up on Wednesday was another wonderful success. The students managed to scoop up lots of rubbish and filled well over a hundred black sacks, leaving a huge expanse of beach and wadi clean and beautiful.
Secondary students completed the most comprehensive (detailed) survey ever done at ABIS this week. They were asked questions relating to all aspects of school life from motivation, enjoyment, study skills, teaching, their timetable, technology, the pastoral programme, etc. We will examine the data very carefully and use it to improve what we do in a range of areas.
