What a wonderful week full of learning, adventures and fun. I hope that your child has already shared their Oman Week memory book with you and that you’ve read their thoughts on the events that took place this week. We had a great time together catching frogs at the wadi, learning about rocks at the copper mine, hiking up to the tombs near Willi, and exploring the old town and pottery at Sahlat. We did a TON of hiking yesterday, and I’m very proud of the students that stuck with it and pushed on until the last tomb was explored! A HUGE thank you to all the parents that helped out on both trips, the children were able to explore much more freely because of all the extra watchful eyes, so thank you again for coming with us. And thanks to Toby’s mom Anna for teaching us about copper and about the rocks and mountains in Oman. The overnight stay was a success, the children got to watch “How to Train Your Dragon 2” and enjoyed playing games with their flashlights. I hope your children aren’t too tired today, everyone was asleep by 9:30pm and woke up between 5:45am and 6:15am. Here is the link if you’d like to see more pictures from Oman Week Oman Week
Have a lovely holiday with your children and I’ll see you all on the 22nd!
