I apologize for the late post, I’ve been experiencing some technical difficulties with WordPress.
Last week (week 17) the students worked in their drama groups all week. They have been using the Creative Process to revise and improve their plays. Each group has been given lots of feedback from their peers and myself, and have been able to use that feedback to make their plays better. On Thursday they performed their plays for Grade 4 and made a checklist for the Grade 4 students to assess their performance with. We hope to PERFORM to parents on WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 28th at 8:40am. HOWEVER, the outdoor theatre is currently being painted so this is a TENTATIVE DATE as it will depend on how dry the paint is.
In Math, the students have been continuing to find the perimeter of shapes, and learning how to describe 2D and 3D shape properties.
In Language, students are working on some free writing pieces and perfecting their lines for the plays.
My apologies to the Aykour family! Amal Aykour (not Alma!) joined our Grade 2 family after winter break. This error was a great opportunity to remind my students how important it is to proofread and edit before publishing 😉
