I am delighted to say that I have been given permission to return to work on Sunday. It will be flexitime at first but I hope to go full time within a few weeks. Thank you to everyone for your support and understanding and a special thank you to my able colleagues who have covered me during my absence.
Thank you to those who came to the Oman week information evening. We have put a huge amount of time into planning trips to make them fun and safe. Last year the average trip rating was 8.7 out of 10, which we hope to match or even beat this year. These activities clearly provide wonderful memories for students. As they are part the school’s curriculum, and designed to challenge and develop the students, we hope and expect that all students will participate. We will record this participation in the end of year reports.
We have some great events coming up and I hope that you can join us or pay a visit. Three dates for your diary: The Cabaret on January 28, Sports Day at Sohar Aluminium on January 22, and of course Oman Week on February 8- 12.
