Grade 9 students are experimenting with different materials, such as acrylic paint, watercolour, oil pastels and soft pastels, to explore subject matter through observation, a skill upon which much importance is placed in IGCSE art. Their next step will be to develop ideas towards a final outcome, which may be observational, imaginary or interpretive and in any stye and medium they wish.
