Practicing doubling and halving so we can solve math problems easier.
We had a fabulous time watching a visiting group. This group had mini skits to teach us about how important math is and how it can be used in everyday life. They gave great performances using historical characters to share their knowledge. For example they used King Arthur and his round table to talk about shapes, or King Henry’s many wives to show fractions and Robin Hood to show addition and multiplication.
