Another fruitful week! Dances across the Primary School are gradually being completed in each class. Listening to children in Secondary checking to see whether a step is a Jazz step or not and what would fit where demonstrates some solid learning across those grades. The Primary children continue to learn their Choreographic Principles in the Jazz genre and our very little ones are discovering where their body is in space.

The performance, as stated a couple of weeks ago, is scheduled for the following dates: Secondary students will be performing on November 26 in the evening at the Secondary concert, and Primary students (K3-grade 6) will be performing on November 27th at Assembly. Please note that dates do depend on whether or not a public holiday is declared.

As outlined before, in Primary the children are asked to wear PLAIN WHITE SHIRTS and BLACK TROUSERS, PANTS or LEGGINGS. The shirts can be button up or tee shirts, but they must not have any other colour on them. Sleeves are preferable, but there is no preference for how long the sleeves can be. Trousers/leggings/pants are also plain with no other colour. The children will dance barefoot.

The Secondary children are organising their own clothing in conjunction with Music expectations and in line with their learning requirements.
