Today as the Eco Schools Coordinator I presented my Eco Schools presentation to the Secondary and the Primary at 2 different assemblies. I was a little bit nervous to talk about environmental issues because I wasn’t sure if anyone shared my passion for conservation….but it turns out lots of the students and teachers at ABIS care about our Earth! I was overwhelmed with the amount of support and interest from the students. It makes me so happy to see so many students with the passion and desire to take action for our Earth and help ABIS become an official Eco School!
Due to the HUGE amount of interest in joining The Green Team committee, we will be holding class elections next week. During these elections students that have signed up for a position on The Green Team will have a chance to tell their peers why they care about the Earth and how they are going to be an Eco Leader at ABIS!
Are you excited to see who will be apart of The Green Team??? I sure am!
Together I know that we can achieve the Eco Schools Green Flag and make a positive difference in the community, in Oman, and in the world.
