Hello families!
This week, except for a few days where I attended a conference, has been go go go for the start of the dances we are preparing for the November performance. Secondary students will be performing on the evening of November 26 at their concert and Primary students (from K3 – 6) will be performing the following day at Assembly. This session’s genre is JAZZ, and so the music and dance steps will reflect this. Secondary children are also working on the expressive intent of “Friendship” in keeping with the overall theme of the evening.
Primary students will be asked to wear PLAIN, WHITE SHIRTS and BLACK TROUSERS, PANTS or LEGGINGS. The shirts can be button up or teeshirts, but they must not have any other colour on them. Sleeves are preferable, there is no preference for how long the sleeves can be. Trousers must be also plain with no other colour. The children will dance barefoot.
