Our new goats have been very inspiring! Students from G6 studying Paleolithic art have been drawing them to experience how cave artists might have made their art: they observed the goats and then went back to their paper and charcoal and tried to make a drawing. Some were very successful! Then, they took photos of the goats with their ipads and used their photos to make drawings, and so could compare drawing from memory and imagination to copying. G11 students have also been drawing the goats as practice in observing and rapidly sketching the form and structure of living things.
