A real world math problem – this time related to our brand new playground – has popped up. A cover needs to be spread out over the playing area that is 12 metres in length on each side…….both classes collaborated on solving this problem which was introduced by Mr. Adams our high school math teacher. A whole range of skills from addition to subtraction to measurement were used as they children set about solving this problem.
