It’s been a fun week. Children in the lower primary grades have started exploring different levels and the use of force in Dance. Children in the higher primary grades are choosing different choreographic principles to explore and express. Some work with locomotor and axial movements have been a focus. Secondary have started choreographing! They understand their expressive intent and the dances are starting to take shape. Finding space around the school to choreograph their pieces has been interesting and it is always fun to open a door and find a group of students working on movements for their dances.
