This week dance commenced well, with older students looking at how to warm up and stretch safely and younger students revisiting the Choreographic Principles and discussing what they remembered and knew and what assessments would look like. The very young ones started exploring the use of space in dance and how the same number of students could create a large group or a small group depending on how they arranged themselves. The secondary students started considering music and steps for their upcoming performances in November. All in all, we jumped right into the programme… with stretched feet, of course!
