One has to be thankful that we were spared the rain at sports day today even though the unusually cold wind managed to destroy two of our gazebos! That said we managed to complete all of the athletic events before we decide to finish early for health and safety reasons. Because of this I proudly witnessed a great display of effort, talent and gutsy performances from the secondary students, and of course the primary ones as well. What impressed me the most was the fact that students gave it their all. It may seem a little corny to say it but part of our mission is for students to be ‘ challenged’ and ‘ involved’ and reach their ‘full potential’ and sports day is a great way for them to achieve these three goals. Thank you to all the parents who were there to support and cheer. For those who were unable to come due to work commitments we will share the pictures with you soon on the Broadcaster. Have a fun weekend!
