Our introduction to Exposition writing (also referred to as argument or persuasive writing) kicked off with a fiery debate. The topic being debated was ‘Children should be allowed to eat whatever they want, whenever they want’. A majority of the class were of the opinion that children were not always responsible and so should not be given the choice of choosing when and what they could eat on their own free will. A small yet vocal minority made the argument that children were more responsible than they are generally given credit for and hence should be given the option of choosing when and what they could eat. Stay tuned for more debates.
