We have begun researching in earnest. The school has a subscription to the online version of The Encyclopedia Brittanica and last week our class started using the resource by researching heroes. This site can be accessed from home and school.
Can I suggest you spend some time familiarizing yourself with the site as your child works on the research component of the Unit of Inquiry homework this week. One of the interesting features of this site is that it makes allowances for different levels of language skills by organizing the content into foundation, intermediate and advanced reading levels.
