Grade four have completed their houses. Now they are creating a town around their homes. First they had to consider and map out the terrain on which they were building their town. This included ocean, rivers, forest, hills, plateau, fertile land and mountains. Then, by lottery, they determined the best location for their personal home for which they then had to give reasons. Next, they discussed and agreed on the best places to have such town requirements as meeting hall, school, hospital, clinic, markets and malls. Finally, they were divided into districts -which they named – and for the future they will be considering how to build up their areas three dimensionally.
