We need to make graphs to show our weather data. Graphs are a great way to show data because they make it easier to see the data and it makes patterns in our data more noticeable.
We have been looking at tools to make graphs. We tried making graphs using an iPad and by hand. Then we weighed the pros and cons of each method.
The we reflected on the best tool for each of us. Some of us have chosen to make their weather data graphs by hand because they have good time management skills. Others chose to use the iPads, mainly because they noted it was hard for them to create a graph neatly by hand. Also they found it took them a long time to create a graph by hand.
Evaluating tools for learning and presenting helps us to choose the best tools for the job! It is also important to reflect on our strengths and weaknesses as learners so we can make informed choices about how we share our knowledge!
