Mr. Hampton gave a super exciting presentation on how weather, mainly wind, impacts his life. We really enjoyed learning about his hobby, kite surfing! Mr. Hampton showed us how he uses online and handheld tools to help him collect data on weather. This helps him predict whether it will be a good day to go kite surfing.
We took notes on both our expert presentations…this helps us remember what we learned. It is a good thing we did because we noticed something that both Mr. Provencher and Mr. Hampton talked about in their presentations.
We now know what we need to do to go further with our inquiry. We can present the weather data we have been collecting from our weather station by graphing it! That way, we can notice patterns more easily…which will help us predict the weather! Thank you Mr. Hampton!
