Grade 3 has had a busy week conducting their own research on the many migration stories of Sohar. The students were curious as to why there are so many people from all over the world living in Sohar. In order to accurately tell the migration story of Sohar, students conducted interviews, found cultural markers and collected evidence. To share their findings with the class, the students created books, slideshows, posters and photo galleries addressing key questions they had. Some of these question included: What are some of countries that people have migrated from? Why did those groups migrate to Sohar? How do you think Sohar will look in 5 years if the migration patterns continue?

Come by Grade 3 and check out their incredible work. Here are a few samples from their presentations.
