That grade 1 had their first Authors celebration? We have been reading and learning from authors such as Vera Williams, Don Freeman, Dav Pilkey and Ezra Jack Keats, who take small moments in their lives and stretch them out across pages. These writers write just like the stories our students make and are wonderful examples for them to model the writing process.
Our classroom is a perfume free and peanut free zone
A gentle reminder that we do have students in the school that are allergic to peanuts please do not pack anything in your child’s lunch that contains any nuts.
As well, I am extremely allergic to perfume. Please do not send your child to school with perfume on, as it gives me migraine headaches.
