All students need to have a hat, with their name on it, which should be left in their cubbies at school. First recess is spent either in the multipurpose area or outside. It is important that kids this age are moving as much as possible. I hate to see them stuck inside because they don’t have a hat to wear.
Please be sure your child’s name is on any water bottle brought to school so that water bottles are not accidentally shared.
After School Activities
A newsletter came home yesterday regarding our after school activities program. Please be sure to fill them in and get them back to school right away. The activities your child really wants may fill up fast. Forms must be in by Saturday the 24th of September.
Our P.E. teacher has asked that you please remember to have your child wear sports shoes, with either laces or Velcro, and ABIS shirts on the days we have P.E. It is dangerous for them to have on sandals, crocks, or no shoes at all when they are playing running games.
Don’t forget, swimming is on Mondays!
