We read the story about the enormous turnip and discussed what it means to cooperate. We basically came up with the following points: listening, sharing, taking turns, encouraging, compromising and doing your part.
For this week we will do some activities based on cooperation. I want the students to get familiar with the word, so if you could use it in conversations at home, it would really benefit them.
In Math we are learning to use the calendar on a daily basis, so if there are any important dates that the students want to remember, like mom’s birthday, dad’s birthday or any important event, please write it on a piece of paper and place it in their plastic envelope. We will put it on our calendar:)
