Unknown to him, one of the school’s goats had the rare honor of featuring in grade three’s homework this week. For their homework the children are required to construct a story about him using as many adjectives as they can. Nouns and adjectives were a focus of study this week. In math we continued with the addition of numbers up to thousand. Next week we will work on a combination of addition and subtraction of numbers to a thousand. Our unit of inquiry is proving to be quite popular one. Lots of interesting discussions peppered with questions have been heard around the class. Next week the children will identify a part of the body or a system they feel is the most important and defend their choices by persuading their peers both orally and in writing.
