It’s been a really busy first quarter, but at least successful. We are delighted with the progress that our students have made in their learning, and hope that you found our Three Way Conference Evening helpful and informative. Healthy home/school partnerships are a priority for us.
We had a great time at the band and choir evening on Monday. It was terrific to see our students make so much progress in so little time. “From small acorns, mighty oaks grow”.Wonderful to see how children grow in confidence and stature, as they get used to sharing the stage.
Dressing up for Oman National Day was a real hoot and Secondary students showed that they are good sports. See featured image.
Students have been really busy planning for the French Study Week trip which leaves tomorrow morning. It’s been exciting to watch the students talk about it and practice their skills daily, and everyone who is going is buzzing. We wish them a great trip.
This afternoon teachers were discussing what internationalism really means, and we are working towards a definition that we will share and promote in the future. Some students and parents have already shared their ideas here. Going to countries and exploring other cultures is obviously a good example of our students becoming global citizens.
