We have had another incredible and action-packed week of learning! Here is a look at what our students have been exploring across our subjects:

🦴 Special Guest Speaker: The Skeletal System & Our Body

We were thrilled to welcome Dr. Neha Sardar to our classroom! She gave a presentation on the skeletal system, teaching the students what kinds of bones we have and how they support and protect us. The kids had fantastic questions and loved learning about body health directly from a medical professional.

🔬 Group Presentations: Connected Body Systems

Building on our science investigations, students worked in teams to explore how different body systems collaborate. Each group presented to the class on how two systems work together—such as how the muscular and skeletal systems partner to help us move, or how the circulatory system supports digestion.

✍️ Literacy: Finalizing Our Research Writing

In writing, students put the finishing touches on their research paragraphs about their chosen body system. Using the hooks, background information, and topic sentences they drafted, they compiled their facts into complete, well-structured informative pieces.

🎭 Class Assembly: Sharing Our Knowledge!

To cap off our unit, the students combined everything they’ve learned about body systems and making healthy choices into a fantastic assembly performance! They did a wonderful job presenting to the school with confidence and enthusiasm.

Thank you for your continued partnership and support at home. Have a wonderful and relaxing weekend!
