Another amazing week in 3B.
This week we were showing our knowledge in Mathematics by reviewing:
- Place value of digits
- Writing number names
- Expanding numbers
- Base Ten blocks of making numbers
- Fun solving number puzzles
Within the focus of reading and writing we completed Literacy rotations to work on:
- Main Idea with supporting details
- Reading independantly
- Nessy skills of Phonics
- Writing our Non- Fiction Text about body systems
In UOI our focus is still on Understanding how our body systems work helps us make informed choices about our wellbeing.
- We sorted organs in the body into the Circulatory, Respiratory, DIgestive and other organs.
- We discussed how each organ might work together in that system
- Students explain what each parts job is in within the system.
Students continue to look at the classroom agreement to remind ourselves of the classroom routines and expectations.
