Dear Grade 3B Families
What a great first week of school. It has been a joy meeting the students and getting to know their strengths and seeing them work collaboratively. I am looking forward to seeing them display all the learner profile traits alongside their characters of lion, eagle, turtle and chameleon.
This week, students spent time getting to know one another, establishing classroom and discussing how we can create a safe, respectful, and positive learning environment. We also began thinking about what it looks like, feels like or sounds like when thinking about our classroom agreement.
Our Essential Agreements are:
- We will always try our best and work hard
- Be kind to friends, teachers, classmates and parents
- We help each other in the class
- Our class listens to the teacher
- We will keep our school and class tidy
- Respect people and responsible with things.
Important Dates
- September 1st: Parents Open Night (5:00pm – 6:30)
- September 6th: ASA Round 1 begins
- Swimming: Beginning next week on TUESDAY from 11:40 – 12:20. Please refer to the message on SeeSaw for details.
We are so excited for the journey ahead! We cannot wait to see all the learning, growing and discovering our Grade 3 students will do this year.
