Dear Primary Families,
Today brings us to the end of another busy and rewarding school year.
We finished the year with a special whole-school assembly, which gave us the opportunity to reflect on the year that has been, celebrate our achievements, wish our departing staff farewell, and wish all members of our community a happy and enjoyable holiday.
As we reach the end of the school year, I would like to take a moment to thank all our parents for the support, encouragement, and partnership you have shown throughout the year. The relationship between home and school is such an important one, and we greatly appreciate the trust you place in us each day.
I would also like to say how proud I am of our students. Throughout the year, they have demonstrated resilience, curiosity, kindness, and a willingness to learn and grow. Whether in classrooms, on trips, during performances, through sporting events, exhibitions, assemblies, or the many other activities that have taken place this year, our students have represented themselves and the school wonderfully.
Today, Semester 2 reports have been issued. We encourage families to take time to read through the reports together, celebrating the successes highlighted and reflecting on the suggested next steps. These reports provide an opportunity to recognise the progress students have made over the course of the year and to look ahead to future learning.
A school year is always a team effort. My sincere thanks go to our dedicated Primary team, our administration team, and our support staff, all of whom work tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that our students are supported, challenged, and cared for each day.
It has been a busy year with many highlights, and we are proud of all that has been accomplished. At the same time, we remain committed to continuing to strengthen and develop our programme as we look ahead to next year and the opportunities that await our students.
On behalf of everyone in the Primary School, I would like to wish all families a wonderful, safe, and relaxing summer break. Whether you are staying in Oman, travelling overseas, or spending time with family and friends, I hope the coming weeks provide opportunities to rest, recharge, and enjoy special moments together.
We look forward to welcoming students back to school on Sunday, 23rd August.
Thank you once again for your support throughout the year.
Best regards,
Matthew
