Dear Grade 5 Families,
What a wonderful year in Grade 5 it has been! I am sad that it has come to an end, but it has been a pleasure to see just how far our students have come since the beginning of the year. They have become more curious, courageous, and caring learners who have embraced challenges, supported one another, and grown both academically and personally. This year has been filled with so many memorable moments—from our inquiries into digital citizenship, emotions and resilience, photography, science, and space exploration, to our collaborative projects, celebrations, field trips, and countless moments of laughter in the classroom. Find photos from this week here.
Thank you to all of our families for your support, encouragement, and partnership throughout this year. Your involvement has played an important role in helping our Grade 5 students thrive and grow.
To my wonderful Grade 5 students, I wish you all the very best as you begin your Grade 6 journey. Whether you are continuing here at ABIS or moving on to a different school, I hope you continue to ask questions, try your best, take risks, and discover the things that bring you joy and inspire your passions. Please know that I am always here to help and support you, no matter where life takes you. You may be leaving Grade 5, but I will always be one of your biggest supporters and will be cheering you on from afar. Thank you for making this year so special. I cannot wait to see all the amazing things your futures hold.
Wishing all of our Grade 5 families a restful, joyful, and well-deserved summer break!
With gratitude,
Miss Megan
