Dear Parents,
One of the privileges of working in a school is that every year tells a different story.
Some years are remembered for major milestones, some for challenges overcome, and some for the opportunities they create for the future. What I will remember most about 2025–2026 is the positive spirit of our community. Throughout the year I have seen students support one another, teachers go above and beyond for their classes, and parents continue to work in partnership with the school. These are the qualities that make ABIS far more than simply a place of learning.
As the academic year comes to a close, I would like to thank all members of our community for the role they have played in making this a successful and rewarding year. Schools thrive when students, parents, and staff work together, and I am grateful for the support, trust, and commitment shown throughout the year.
Our students have much to be proud of. While academic achievement remains important, I have been equally pleased to see the confidence, resilience, kindness, and maturity they have demonstrated throughout the year. Each child has their own journey, and it has been wonderful to see the growth that has taken place over the past year.
I would also like to acknowledge our staff, whose dedication and professionalism continue to provide students with outstanding opportunities for learning and personal development. Their commitment to supporting every child is one of the school’s greatest strengths.
As the summer holiday begins, I encourage all students to take time to rest, enjoy family and friends, and reflect on their achievements. Whether you are travelling overseas or remaining in Oman, I hope the break is safe, enjoyable, and well deserved.
Thank you for your continued support of ABIS. I wish all students, parents, and staff a happy and relaxing holiday, and I look forward to welcoming everyone back for another successful year on August 23.
Kind regards,
Dominic Robeau
