This week, students had the opportunity to experience a range of new activities and team games as part of their PE lessons. One of the highlights of the week was the introduction of tchoukball, which was a new sport for many students. Lessons focused on understanding the rules, developing passing and movement skills, and learning the importance of teamwork and communication within the game. Students responded positively to the challenge of learning a different style of sport and quickly began applying tactical thinking and decision-making during gameplay.

It was great to see students enjoying the return to a variety of team games this week, particularly after completing their recent assessment units. The lessons provided students with the chance to work collaboratively, compete positively, and re-engage with the social aspects of PE. Many students demonstrated good sportsmanship, encouragement towards teammates, and enthusiasm throughout the sessions.

As the week progressed, students became more confident with the rules and strategies involved in tchoukball and other team activities. Overall, the atmosphere during lessons was highly positive, with students enjoying the opportunity to try something new while continuing to develop their communication, teamwork, and game awareness skills.
