Dear parents,
As we move towards the final weeks of the academic year, there continues to be a great deal happening across the school.
One exciting development is the progress being made on our new Science Laboratories. The Physics, Biology, and Chemistry labs are nearing completion and are expected to be ready in mid to late June. We are very much looking forward to seeing these facilities operational for the beginning of the new academic year. These laboratories will provide an excellent new resource for the school and strengthen opportunities for practical learning across the sciences.
On Tuesday morning, we were pleased to welcome parents to the school for our Parent Coffee Morning. It was wonderful to see parents engaging with both the Senior Management Team and one another in such a positive atmosphere. Following the coffee morning, parents attended the Grade 11 Art Exhibition, where students discussed their artwork and creative processes. Artwork from other grade levels was also displayed.
Today, Mr. Mino and the Grade 5 students presented The Jewel of Muscat, an engaging visual and dramatic performance celebrating aspects of life and history in Oman. Thank you as well to Ms. Khadija and Mr. Achraf for their hard work and support.
Academically, this remains an important period for many students. Our Grade 10 students complete their final MYP eAssessment tomorrow, while Grade 11 students begin their end-of-year examinations next week. Grade 12 students also enter the final week of their IB Diploma examinations, alongside students completing Arabic, Islamic and Social Studies examinations. We wish all students the very best throughout this demanding assessment period.
As temperatures continue to rise across Oman, please ensure students bring water bottles to school each day and remain properly hydrated throughout the day.
I wish everyone a relaxing and enjoyable weekend ahead.
