Welcome back! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.
We are excited to share a brief update on what students have been working on in Art this week:
KG1: they used hand-printing to create poster express caring about our planet earth.
KG2: Started new painting unit to tell stories through painting, they started to create their own stories by using painting and bubbles ideas.
Grade 1: They are working on their clay unit ( telling stories), they watch a story (the lion and the mouse) and they created animals by using play dough.
Grade 2: They are working on their printing unit about light and dark and they discovered that we can create light and shadows with mono printing techniques.
Grade3: They are working on their clay unit, they know everything now about clay and they finished to create their Aline pencil case and they did a new painting activity to create a galaxy.
Grade 4: They are working on their printing unit and they are discovering the characteristics of Islamic art like symmetry and unity and geometric shapes, they started to create an Islamic calligraphy design and an Islamic star then created a relief printing.
Grade 5: they are glazing their sea creatures pinch pot and they are very excited about finishing them.
Grade 6: They continued working on collage unit about their learning journey in ABIS.
