This week, secondary students have been continuing to develop their swimming technique, with a focus on improving stroke efficiency, body position, and overall confidence in the water. Students have been working on refining key skills across different strokes, as well as building their understanding of pacing and control. It has been encouraging to see many students making steady progress and applying feedback to improve their performance.
Alongside swimming, students have been working on creating and refining their gymnastics routines. Lessons have focused on linking movements smoothly, demonstrating control, and incorporating a variety of balances and shapes into their sequences. Students have been challenged to think creatively while also ensuring their routines meet the required criteria.
I have attached some photos of students demonstrating their balances, which highlight the effort, focus, and creativity shown throughout these lessons. Overall, it has been a very positive week, with students showing good engagement and continued development across both activities.
