Welcome back! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.
We are excited to share a brief update on what students have been working on in Art this week:
KG1: they printed leafs by using leaf prints.
KG2: continue to discover Nature, they draw fruit basket as a still life and the practice coloring with color pencils.
Grade 1: made painting about their favorite place.
Grade 2: continued working on their collage unit and they started to add texture and patterns to their project ( landscape, cityscape, nature or abstract art) by using watercolor, pencil and crayon.
Grade3: finished working on the construction unit by adding the final touches on their Egyptian city diorama by using different materials.
Grade 4: They started printing unit and they are discovering the characteristics of Islamic art like symmetry and unity and geometric shapes.
‘Grade 5: they started clay unit and they started to know about clay and they finished first step today as making the pinch pot.
Grade 6: continued working on their drawing unit ( one point perspective) they started to understand the color theory and they colored part of their artwork..
