Dear Parents,
This Week in Our Learning
This week has been engaging and exciting in Physical Education across all grade levels. In Upper Primary, students are exploring cricket, where they are learning to strike, throw, and catch with control, understand basic rules and gameplay, and work together to make decisions as a team. Through these activities, students are developing the IB Learner Profile attributes of Communicators, Thinkers, Principled individuals, and Risk-takers.
In Grades 1–3, students are building their understanding of invasion games. They are learning how to position themselves effectively in space, understand simple roles such as attacker, defender, and teammate, recognize their responsibilities as players, contribute positively to their team, and move into open space while avoiding crowding. A strong emphasis is placed on collaboration, teamwork, and spatial awareness.
It has been wonderful to see students demonstrate leadership, encouragement, and resilience during activities. Many are stepping outside their comfort zones, supporting teammates, and showing strong collaboration skills. We are proud of the positive energy and teamwork displayed across all classes.
