Dear Parents,
Welcome back! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend .
We are excited to share a brief update on what students have been working on in Art this week:
- KG1: finished their reflections on the painting unit and they have the chance to talk about one of their favorite paintings and how they feel about it?.
- KG2: continue to discover Nature, they draw wild animals in nature by using shapes and lines from elements of art.
- Grade 1: started a new painting unit where we are in place and time, they started to use line and shape as a part of the 7 elements of art to draw their own houses.
- Grade 2: started a collage unit and they started to choose their partners in the group to create a piece of collage by using different materials to create ( landscape, cityscape, nature or abstract art).
- Grade3: continue working on the construction unit by discovering more information about the old Egyptian civilization, they are making 3D temple by using different materials.
- Grade 4: Discovered tints & shades and tones. Now they are creating their own abstract art or a landscape ideas.
- Grade 6: started new drawing unit ( one point perspective) they started to draw buildings.
