Dear parents,

This shorter week is due to Thursday being set aside as a dedicated Professional Development Day, providing our teachers with valuable time to engage in learning and professional growth.

Earlier this week, our Grade 6 students presented their PYP Exhibition, the culmination of an extended period of independent inquiry. The exhibition highlighted strong student voice, thoughtful research, and growing confidence in communicating ideas, demonstrating the skills and dispositions developed throughout the PYP. The collective support of the teaching team was clearly evident.

Last Thursday, the school community came together for the International Food Evening. Families shared food from a wide range of cultures, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere for students, staff, and parents. Student performances added to the evening as were the performances by groups of parents and students. The net amount raised was 1,869 OMR to be given to Takatuf, reflecting the generosity and cohesion of our community.

Looking ahead, the Holy Month of Ramadan will begin on a yet to be confirmed day next week. During this period, school will conclude at 1:00 pm each day, with a revised timetable in place. Further details, including information about the adjusted ASA programme, will be shared by homeroom teachers.

Thank you for your continued support.
