Al Batinah International School (ABIS) was filled with colour, music, and the aromas of cuisines from around the world during its much-anticipated International Food Evening last Thursday evening, an event that truly reflected the spirit of our diverse and close-knit community.

Parents generously volunteered their time and talents by setting up food stalls representing a wide range of countries and cultures. Each table offered homemade dishes and traditional favourites, creating a vibrant marketplace of flavours that was enjoyed by students, families, staff, and friends of the school. From savoury delights to sweet treats, the quality and variety of food were outstanding and a clear highlight of the evening.

The atmosphere was further enriched by music and engaging student performances, which added energy and joy to the celebration. The strong turnout from across the ABIS community created a warm, festive environment and demonstrated the school’s shared commitment to coming together in support of a good cause.

Thanks to the collective efforts of our parents, students, staff, and organisers, the evening raised a net income of 1,869 OMR, which will be donated to the charity, Takatuf. This achievement is a powerful reminder of what can be accomplished when a community works together with generosity and purpose.

The International Food Evening was not only a celebration of global cultures, but also a meaningful act of service—one that showcased the values of compassion, collaboration, and community that lie at the heart of ABIS. #ABIS #Internationalfoodevening # ABIScommunity #Takatuf  #communitycelebration
