Dear parents,
Parent–Teacher Conferences took place earlier this week, and I would like to thank the families who met with teachers to discuss progress and next steps. If you were unable to attend, please reach out to your child’s teacher if you need further information.
It was good to connect with parents during our recent Coffee Morning. These informal opportunities for conversation and community building are highly valued, and we encourage more families to join us at future sessions.
A special highlight of the week was the KG1–Grade 1 Assembly. Our youngest learners shared their learning with confidence and enthusiasm, demonstrating courage, pride, and a willingness to step forward in front of an audience. It was a great celebration of their growth and learning.
Looking ahead, next week marks an important milestone as we welcome the IB Evaluation Team from Monday to Wednesday. Their visit provides an opportunity for reflection, professional dialogue, and continued growth as an IB World School. We look forward to engaging with the team as they spend time with students, staff, and families.
Further ahead, Oman Week will offer rich learning experiences across the school, including the Grade 9 trip to Wadi Hoqain, Nizwa, and Muscat. This will conclude with our International Food Evening on Thursday, 5 February, a wonderful celebration of our diverse community.
Wishing you all a restful and enjoyable weekend.
Dominic Robeau
